Burpee’s are the worst exercise.
I know they’re really good for you but oh, I hate them soooo much!

One of the arguments behind Starfire’s barely-there outfit is that her powers are fed by solar energy. Since Superman also gets his powers from our yellow sun, cartoonist J.Bone designed a new, less UV-blocking costume for the Man of Steel.

Welcome to My Garden:
I had the chance to shoot after hours at the Ontario Science Centre’s Rainforest Exhibit during Atomic Lollipop.  I’ve always wanted to do a shoot with Poison Ivy in a greenhouse this location was 10X better than why I had dreamed off.

Costume Construction:
I made the entire costume myself, the base is a spiral steel boned ‘playboy bunny suit with a built in bra. Every leaf is coated in E600 and attached to the suit. I used a mixture of silk ivy leaves and inexpensive ivy from the dollar store to create dimension and colour variation between the leaves. My gloves are leather painted in two tones of green. I made the gussets a contracting light green as an added detail to blend with the different leaf colours I used on the suit. I wanted to incorporate a lot of different green tones to keep everything looking lush and natural.  I purchased a lace front wig in a natural red and mounted small leaves on spiral hair clips to give me a leafy halo.
